Jesus walked along the road.

A lot of people followed him.

Two men sat at the side of the road.

They could not see; they were blind.

They heard that Jesus was passing by.

The two men shouted, “Have pity on us.”

They shouted again, “Help us.”

The people told them to be quiet.

Jesus stopped. “What do you want?” he asked.

“We want you to make us see”, they said.

Jesus felt very sorry for the blind men.

He touched their eyes.

At once they could see.

They followed Jesus.

Matthew 20:29-34.
