Commentaries marked like this √ have been through our Advanced Checking process. We have found it to be the consistent view of experienced translators that the logical connection of thoughts is very important in bible translation. For this reason, these documents contain, in places, sentences that are slightly more complex than a strict interpretation of EasyEnglish grammar rules would allow.

We invite you to download, print, and use any of these commentaries free of charge, but you must include the Copyright Statement included in each document. They are written in Level B EasyEnglish (2800 word vocabulary) unless it says otherwise.

The idea of these materials is to help Second Language English speakers. We want them to help people who speak less English. You should use them together with any other standard English translations or commentaries that you have available. We do not intend that you should use our version alone. You should not use it as your only start for a new translation into another language.
