anoint ~ (A) ~ to mark a person with oil to show that God has chosen them; someone that the Holy Spirit has chosen.
anoint ~ (B) ~ to mark a person with oil to show that God has chosen them; anointed can mean that the Holy Spirit has marked a person.
anoint ~ (B) ~ to put oil put on someone's head. This shows that God has chosen the person for a special task.
