epistle ~ (B) ~ Many books of the New Testament are letters (in other words, epistles). Their authors include Paul (who wrote 13 epistles). James and Jude wrote an epistle each. Peter wrote 2 epistles and John wrote 3 epistles. We do not know the author of the Epistle to the Hebrews. However, many people think that Paul also wrote that book.
