wedding ~ (A) ~ when two people marry each other.
wedding ~ (B) ~ Long before the wedding, the couple would become engaged. Then the bridegroom would go away to prepare a home for his wife. The bridegroom had to pay a price for his wife. When everything was ready, the bridegroom would go to the home of his bride's parents. He would then take his bride to his own home. A wedding was a very happy time. Parties would continue for several days.
